All equipment received will be value assessed. Equipment is then placed in economic categories.

These categories are as follows:

• Equipment sold as operating units
  
• Equipment disassembled and parts sold
  
• Equipment disassembled and parts scrapped
  

Because of ERTs extensive global network of buyers even the oldest, most obsolete equipment such as hard drives, power supplies, memory, etc have value. The equipment that is scrapped is filtrated into ferrous and non-ferrous metals, circuit boards, plastics and glass. The value is then extracted from local smelters. Zero impact to the environment and our “Cradle to Cradle” approach is accomplished.
